What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address. When an interview runs, we store the transcript, a generated summary and, when recording is enabled for your workspace, the stereo audio of the conversation. Our servers also keep standard request logs.

Participants

Before a conversation starts, the interview page tells the participant that it is recorded and asks for their agreement. Participants can skip any question. The interviewer never asks for passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information, and does not repeat such details if they are volunteered.

Who processes it

Voice conversations run on OpenAI's real-time voice models; OpenAI may retain a session recording for up to 30 days, after which the only copy is the one stored in your Disco workspace. Generated interview questions use language models accessed through OpenRouter. The service runs on Amazon Web Services and stores account and interview data in a managed PostgreSQL database (Neon) and in private object storage. We do not sell data and we do not run advertising trackers.

Retention and deletion

Interview content, including recordings, is kept until you ask for it to be removed. Email ben@usedisco.link from the address that owns the project, and we will delete the interviews, their transcripts and their recordings.
